BlackWater Squid Jigs - Descend Rate & Actions
We understand that there might be many out there whom are wondering how our squid jigs perform in the water.
We had therefore made this video to show everyone BlackWater Squid Jigs' descend rate and swimming actions.
I notice lots of talk about how these egi are designed by people passionate about eging, what makes this egi any different from a sumizoku, most cloths are the same the shape is the same but looking at the video it sinks fast and vertical and has no dart action or stable sink, it just plummets. Not having a dip just trying to work out what makes them so good and why they are batter than anything else out there on the market
Hi Paul, thank you very much for your question. The video that you were referring to was shot in less than 30cm of water and with a descend rate of 3.5secs per meter, thus it seemed very much like it is plummeting, but it's not as it will take less than a second to sink 30cm. BW Squid Jigs does exhibit a zig-zag darting action when the user jig. We will not make any comments on any brands, but perhaps you can get 2 or 3 of our jigs, for the price of a branded jig. With regards to the jig's performance and effectiveness, do take a look at the photos our users had submitted to us.
I have ordered 2 of your jigs for the sake of curiosity, having them in the flesh and being able to compare them against the various other egi I have will be much easier than going from pics, will do some testing myself and let you know. I am sure that like all egi they will catch squid. Will also run them in my swim tank, at 11feet deep and 4 feet wide with glass on all sides I should be able to take some video footage of how they sink and what type of action they display. Will send you a copy before I comment, its only fair.
